She could, but IMHO, she shouldn't have to.
Anyway, if I recall correctly the smb support in gnome-vfs will allow
her to open a share without specifically asking to "mount" it.
Yep. But since this was "move evolution dir to new machine" the "other
machine" would need to be some sort of unix, and that requires setting
up Samba for that. Though I guess the default config shares homedirs, so
it might be not that hard. But still.
