Well, this has never meant to behave this way, so if people have built
their usage patterns upon broken behaviour this is now entirely their
problem. Things will get better again when the groups stuff lands, but
that will be after 1.0. And I want this particular thing in 1.0, as it
belongs to the "core".

I know. This is what the groups stuff has been designed for.

We could define a certain fuzziness so that an album with just 1-3
tracks missing will still show up ..
