Alright, I guess I understand where you're going with this now. It
seems like a bunch of people were coming up with ideas _how_ to do this,
but the idea of _what_ the goal was had been lost. I think with some
more of the ideas from the groups proposal implemented, the complete
album thing would be useful, but if this makes it in too soon, I feel
like it will hurt certain usages of Muine.
Right now I typically don't have specific music in mind, so I'll open up
the Play Album window to get a higher level view of my music, scroll
through and see what I'm in the mood for and hit play. I may not care
if I play a full album, but I don't want to have to scroll through
song-by-song either. Certainly some of the stuff from the groups
proposal for random music selection could help this.
One concern with the complete album stuff is nearly-complete albums. I
use eMusic to get a lot of my music, and I almost always end up with a
partial album when I reach my monthly limit, and I have to wait until
the next month to download the remaining tracks. I think it could be
kind of annoying to have an album hidden from the list simply because it
was missing a track or two.
