        self.notebook.child_set_property(page, 'tab-expand', True)\

with

        self.notebook.child_set_property(page.widget, 'tab-expand', True)

I have patched meld/meldwindow.py and meld/ui/notebook.py in 3.20 based
on this commit.

However, I get this error when I run meld:
