Hopefully the next one will be the announcement of the beta release. :) Devin and I have decided to apply a bit of GNOME release management in order to declare the feature freeze. Features missing (like couples not able to share bungalows) or new enhancement features (like a block in the guadec.org homepage counting the registered participants) will be discussed and implemented (if appropriate and feasible) after the beta release. Only Murray and Dave have sent their testing reports, and both have been tremendously useful. Your report can make a difference as well. > > IMPORTANT: Does the GUADEC registration have VAT? Yes, Chema says 16%. Once the beta is released we need to improve the calculations in order to separate the VAT, for people requesting invoices (another feature missing that will need to wait until after the beta release). We expect to release the beta registration in hopefully less than 24h (all we want to sleep more), on Wednesday evening-night. The registration tool will be functional and the registrations (and payments) made will be real. Users will be warned that the tool is a beta and we expect to solve the major bugs and implement the core functionality missed before next Monday, leaving still 2 weeks of stable registration with all the guarantees and discounts of the pre-April23rd group.
