Thanks for your suggestions, that makes sense.  However I tried:

git mv strings/ strings/ but that returned

fatal: destination exists, source=strings/, destination=strings/

Apparently, it’s only case sensitive when inconvenient… 

@Kevin, if you can do it faster then I you are more then welcome too. :)
It’s you’re work, I just want it in the library.
