Yey, a fellow Canuck!

Yeah, I'll check out gtkglext. I'm brand new to GTK, so I might have 
some difficulty.

Regarding, gtkglarea, along with gtk2 came gtkglarea2, which is what I'm 
using. The only problem I'm having with it is that it doesn't have a 
pkg-config entry.
