But this did not cause a segmentation fault. I suspect therefore that
those two items are separate issues. The warning doesn't happen anymore
for me, and the latter is indeed likely to have to do with the rpm.
I had this problem with 0.99.0 too, and the reason was ~/.gnome/Gnumeric
file. Removing the file and letting gnumeric make a new one, fixed the
problem.
But there should be a descriptive error message anyway.
