I had already done it, and I am absolutely sure that no process was using the
soundcard.

I tried this too.

I was not using ALSA, al least I think it, because my 0.93.1 and pwlib and
openh323 were the ones directly provided by MandrakeSoft... so I cannot be
sure about it.
Anyway, just to be sure, I have installed and correctly setup the latest
version of ALSA, and nothing has changed, both with the same executable of
yesterday and with a new one I produced today with the latest pwlib and
openh323 both recompiled from source.

I hope something will change !!
Regarding what Georgi Georgiev wrote to you yesterday, I have just tried with
ohphone, recompiled from sources, and it works quite well.
Is there a simple way to trace what fails using gnomemeeting ?
Thanks to both of you.
