Why should we emulate Vista or any Windows version especially on power management? At least it is still available without summoning another key.

I believe GNOME should care for application compatibilities like what one poster here who complained about his 3D application not working in GNOME Shell, rather than the power management side of things which is basically the task of Linux kernel developers!
