Just to be clear, why exactly should terminals and file managers default
to multiple instances and Firefox shouldn't? Nautilus and gnome-terminal
both have tabs, don't they? How is it different from Firefox?
I'd say that Evolution, Rhythmbox, Banshee, Synaptic, Vinagre and
Transmission ar example of single-window apps, while LibreOffice,
Epiphany, Firefox, gnome-terminal, Nautilus and Gedit are examples of
multi-window apps.
