On Add/Remove:
If we know that the user has a working internet connection, we could
show not-yet-installed applications in the menu alongside installed
ones.
The default action would be Install rather than Run, and there'd be a
clear distinction (of some sort) between installed and
not-yet-installed apps. A dialogue at the end of the installation
would offer “Run now” (default) and “Close”. (Uninstall could be a
context-menu option for installed apps as well.)
