	Try this... blacklist the visor driver in hotplug, and stop/start
that service, and see if that helps. I've seen some "timing" issues with the
loading/unloading of the visor module which seems to be alleviated by
blacklisting it in the proper hotplug blacklist file.

	I don't think the problems you're seeing are due to gnome-pilot.
Quite a lot of things changed between Mandrake 8 and Mandrake 9. The issues
you're seeing could be due to any number of about 28 different packages that
would affect this (libc, hotplug, devfs, kernel, etc.)
