I use a stock install of Red Hat 6.0 with all of their default settings
for GNOME (1.0.4) with Enlightment (0.15) as the window manager.

I have to say that GNOME team and Red Hat did an absolutely fantastic
job in configuring their system. On my Pentium (not Pentium II, just a
three year old Pentium) 200MHz/64MB RAM machine with a 1MB graphics
card, GNOME and Enlightment dos not feel slow at all: no waiting for the
menu to show up, no swapping, no crashing.
