Re: How to compile/merge more than one .po file with Mallard?

Well... I don't understand Russian, so these screenshots aren't very useful for me ;-)

Anyway, "Hide notifications" seems to be a deprecated string (at least in the es.po file, it's marked as deprecated):

#~ msgid "Hide notifications"

Are you sure you're working with an up-to date clone of the module?

Anyway, I don't understand your question... I've looked for some random strings in ru.po, taken from  privacy-purge.page and privacy-history-recent-off.page and they appear in the po file:

grep -i "file history" ../es/es.po
msgid "Turn off file history tracking"
msgid "To turn off the file history tracking features of your desktop:"

grep -i "empty your trash" ../ru/ru.po
"You can manually empty your trash and clear your temporary files, but you "
"Automatically empty your trash and clear your temporary files after a set "

Where is the problem?

Just a question... why you don't download the POT file from Damned Lies? It is always up-to-date, as it's created from the last git version of the module...

Well, I don't know, just the good old Linux habit to rely on the console rather than on the GUI, I guess :))
Thanks a lot for the itstool tip, very helpful, indeed.
Sadly, it does not fix the issue, since the Damned Lies .pot still lacks some of the mentioned Privacy pages, it's identical to the .pot I've got via git sources (why it shouldn't be, actually?). So I got stuck at the moment, with those untranslatable Privacy strings. Will wait a little, nothing to do with it now.
