Re: Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo (yo, ha, ig) Licensing

As far as I know, there is only the license metadata for the translations-ig package itself, which is listed as GPL.  The person who did the Igbo translation was Sylvester Onye (sylvester wazobialinux com per a string in the gnome-desktop*.mo file.  Hausa was translated by  saudat mohammed <saudat wazobialinux>, and the Yoruba by Sunday Ayo Fajuyitan <ayo wazobialinux com> or  Amo <amo ikamax com> if somebody wants to try contacting them for more info.

Best,

Thanks for the reminder; it's also a reminder for those of us talking
to Wazobia that we have to negotiate LGPL status with them in many
cases.  I will take care only to update GPL packages, if it's okay to
go ahead.

Chris:  Unless some of them are listed as LGPL?  Can you tell me the
licence that the RPM gives for, say, the Igbo translation of
gnome-desktop?  (It should be LGPL.)

Thomas
