Actually that would go in a Preferences or Settings dialog, I think.

It depends on how broad a scope you want to assign to the GNOME
project.
Yesterday I went to the local Barnes & Noble, and the search/ordering
program that the employees use runs on Windows. Even supermarkets
have point-of-sale software that runs on Windows. I would really like
to see such GNOME applications -- it would mean people would be able
to put together really cheap and robust point-of-sale system.
