Hi guys,

with that change and with Alberts' "export" change, x2go and startx 
worked fine.

It'd be nice if it worked out of the box without the sysadmin/user 
having to put /usr/lib/gnome-flashback/gnome-flashback-metacity in x2go 
or in update-alternatives, but it's acceptable! :)
