Looks like I have green light for notification-daemon. I will probably add
myself as maintainer tonight. Things with gnome-screensaver looks little bit
more complicated:

Should we go with fork or add screensaver as part of gnome-flashback module?
I would prefer to keep the screensaver as a separated project, because
it can be used also in other desktop environments. E.g. xflock4 and
lxlock support screen locking with gnome-screensaver:
http://git.xfce.org/xfce/xfce4-session/tree/scripts/xflock4#n30
http://git.lxde.org/gitweb/?p=lxde/lxsession.git;a=blob;f=lxlock/lxlock#l30
I think the best would be to take over gnome-screensaver, and rename
it officially to 'gnome-flashback-screensaver' or 'gnome-lock', so
users will hopefully know that it's different from the lock screen
built in GNOME Shell. And keep the compatibility with the old binary
names at least with symlinks for a while.
