Hi,
last releases for these modules are two years old. These modules are
no longer used in GNOME, right?
They're not indeed.
Modules are still used in unofficial GNOME Flashback session so I
would like take over maintainership of these modules.
I've reassigned or closed all the bugs in the GNOME Bugzilla for
gnome-screensaver, and it was closed for new bugs as well. Given the
number of bugs that thought gnome-screensaver handled the screensaver in
newer versions of GNOME, you'll want to fork it and rename it (such as
"gnome-flashback-screensaver").
This will avoid you getting bugs about gnome-shell's screensaver, and
will avoid gnome-shell/gnome-settings-daemon maintainers from missing
bugs that should have been assigned to them already.
I sent mail to current maintainers of notification-daemon one week
ago. Till now I have not received response.
I think you can probably take this one over, as it doesn't have the same
naming problem as gnome-screensaver.
Cheers
