gnome-wm (October) also seems to prefer enlightenment:

Personally, I'll never use enlightenment. We should ask the core
hackers to update this list; IIRC, E was chosen, because at that time it
was the WM with the most GNOME awareness. E, WindowMaker, Scwm,
Fvwm2(?) -- these all are nice and powerful WMs, but since they try to
"concur" with the deskop, they are not that suitable.
