Re: [Geary] Search operators question: unread emails search

Many thanks Charles

Can't believe I missed that. I'll put it down to being distracted by work deadlines, I also accidentally clicked the commit button on bugzilla so I hope that didn't annoy anyone.

I think either a pop-up ui or an auto-complete is the nicest way from a users point of view.

Cheers,

CW

The supported search operators are listed in the F1 help.  We should find a way to display them more prominently or make them discoverable.  One idea we've had here is to take a play from gmail and show a popup UI when you focus the search entry with some text fields that search on specific columns.  (I know we've talked about this before, but I couldn't find a ticket for it, so I created one: <https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=726657>).

There's currently no way to search for read or unread messages.  I've ticketed this at: <https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=726661>.

Hi all,

Really like Geary only the lack of search has been holding me up from using it full time. Glad to see it in version 0.6

I haven't found any list of operators either in the app or on the site, I might have missed it though, so is there a way to search for unread emails?

Many Thanks,

Craig W.
