Alan, that's flat out inappropriate. There are clauses in the by-laws
related to the membership raising votes.

If that's going to happen, it should happen on this list, not in the mailbox
of someone who is not even a director of the organisation. If you want to
push GNOME into the kind of democratic fish-head soup Debian's stuck in, you
need to do it according to the guidelines of the organisation.
