This is very very interesting. 
I'm also interested in this data I used to find in other situation but
never managed to understand where it was kept (I'd love to see lense
make/model). Now I see why :-)

Could you file a bug with some precise examples and information?


I'm not even sure it's F-Spot's fault, as it uses libexif to write data
to file. But will surely ask for more info.
