HTML composer.  Reply as quoted.  Forward as inline.  (Note the same problem happens with edit as original message.)

Sorry for the ambiguity.

I frequently see similar failures when I try to respond to emails originating from Apple iPhones,  it is as if Apple is not 

properly demarking the end of message.
