Re: [Evolution] Calendar: problem with reoccurring events with exceptions

I am facing a similar problem with Evo 3.22.1. If i create on a Caldav
server a recurring event using Thunderbird, then i cannot delete a
specific occurrence using Evolution. Although it gives the option to
delete, clicking it does not delete it from the server. I have to do
this only via Thunderbird.

sorry, am not sure whether this is the right place to report/ask: I
wonder whether it may be the case, that whilst evolution manages to
delete events from a reoccurring event series (on the server), it
does not remove the deleted events from what is shown within the
evolution calendar interface?

This is about Evolution 3.20.5 using owncloud and nextcloud
servers.

      Hi,
I recall a similar bug report being filled in the not so distant
past,
but I cannot find it right now. Maybe it was [754999], but you have
that fix included in your 3.20.5. Thus it might be a different bug.

I tried to reproduce it here, with the current development version of
the evolution-data-server and evolution, by:
a) create a recurring event on November 8th, for 5 occurrences each
day
b) right-click the instance on the November 10th
c) pick 'Delete this occurrence'.
Once the changes are saved and confirmed by the ownCloud server the
deleted instance is also removed from the Month view.
      Bye,
      Milan
