[Evolution] Calendar: problem with reoccurring events with exceptions

Hello,

sorry, am not sure whether this is the right place to report/ask: I
wonder whether it may be the case, that whilst evolution manages to
delete events from a reoccurring event series (on the server), it does
not remove the deleted events from what is shown within the evolution
calendar interface?

This is about Evolution 3.20.5 using owncloud and nextcloud servers.
