the culprit was at:
/root/.local/share/evolution/mail/local/..ArtNewsletter/cur/1479199473.5059_7593
.fedora-pc:2,S

indeed it is just enough to delete a single line of code from that mail:  
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width; initial-scale=1.0; maximum-
scale=1.0;" />
