You say you've "reported" it - where? If you've filed a bug in Gnome
Bugzilla, then what is it's ID?
I opened an account on Bugzilla two years ago. I can't log in. and if I
try to make a new account, I get an error message. I just can't do it.
It has been reported as an Ubuntu bug at #1459235 and has been
confirmed - and fixed!
I don't see a fix on that bug report - well other than people saying to
use Gnome Online Accounts - and the "bug" isn't closed. What makes you
think that it has been fixed?
And filing a bug against Ubuntu will do nothing to get it fixed in
Evolution, unless the people who fix it in Ubuntu also patch the master
Evolution code tree.
However, if you follow the links in the Ubuntu bug discussion to the
Gnome bugzilla - i.e. to
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=749974
You will see from comment 24 onwards that the solution is to use GOA -
as people keep saying. But also that Milan has modified EDS to include
OAuth2 and that was committed to 3.19.1+, so should be in 3.20.
BTW You mentioned earlier that "The call is in camel-sasl-oauth2-
google.c" - that file was created as part of the patch that Milan
committed, so is very recent and not something that could have been an
issue "for years"
