Hi,
the gnome-tweak-tool is just a GUI for the settings. If you cannot run
it, then try to use dconf-editor. Open there:
/org/gnome/desktop/interface/
and change the default fonts there. The keys has in its name a 'font'
mentioned, like:
font-name
document-font-name
monospace-font-name
The "font name" contains also the size.
