Hi,
it's fixed in 3.16.1:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=746950
I gave more information, I posted the complete error message,
including the information "Unknown Error". Even unknown errors could
be described much better.
I do not know how you'd like to describe a failed operation when the
called function didn't set the error. It's simply "unknown error". It
can mean in evolution that some code constraint failed.
What kind of unknown error happened? Sorry
I've got no time to debug. Is there a way to get a log file of the
try
to retrieve messages from this POP account?
The first step might be to run evolution from a console. If there was
a code constraint error, then a hint will be shown on the console.
Otherwise try:
$ CAMEL_DEBUG=pop3 evolution
as the next step. I would also check whether your connection settings
for that account were left unchanged after update. They definitely
should. Trying "Check for Supported Auth Types" button may verify the
connection settings.
If such errors happens
other MUAs automatically show a log file of the action that failed.
Hmm, definitely not all. I do not know any which would do this, but I
confess my other-MUA knowledge is very limited.
Bye,
Milan
