Knowing where the help files are located might give me a start.
Make sure you have 'yelp' installed.
I'm on openSUSE 12.3 x86_64 w/GNOME 3.8; I have yelp-3.8.0-1.3.x86_64

Also check whether help files for Evolution are packaged separately on
openSUSE. We do that on Fedora for the sake of the live CD; help files
are in a separate 'evolution-help' package.
Help files are included the evolution-3.8.1-1.2.x86_64 package I have
installed.
Evolution: Help -> Contents works for me.
