Whenever I attempt to create a folder (say xxx) using an imap connection
to server imap.mail.yahoo.com, which handles email for my account at
pacbell.net (now part of ATT), the attempt fails with the message:
The folder name "xxx" is invalid because it contains the character "
Does that mean a SPACE in the folder name ?
I don't think so, though it's possible. I think is means quote (").
Neither character is in the name of the folder that I attempted to
create.
Weird problems continue. I can create a folder using kmail, but it's
only visible using evolution. Still can't create folders using
evolution. However I can delete a folder using evolution.
I would like to watch the traffic between evolution and my imap server;
thought that
CAMEL_DEBUG=all evolution >& evo.log
would do the trick, but it seems not. I get a very large dump, which
doesn't seem to contain the create request to the server or the server's
reply. How can I follow traffic without using wireshark or equvalent?
Thanks - jon
