Apology: When earlier I said 'sync', i really meant 'clone', not dynamic syncing between systems. I then installed Evolution (though it was an earlier version there: 2.28.2), and started it. At first it appeared to be ignoring ~/.evolution, as it required me to define my identity and POP/SMTP accounts. However, it then opened up and showed me all the email folders and contents, complete addressbook, message filters, etc., and performed Send/Receive as normal. That suggests that Identity and POP/SMTP settings are not stored in ~/.evolution, but I cannot find where. Anyone know?
