Re: [Evolution] found a semblance of solution [Fwd: several keywords in filters]

thanks but that's not what I want Reid...
I chose of course match if any criteria are met...
my point is that i want a filter on the subject and i want to declare several keywords that could be in the subject, and to declare them in the same field (instead of creating each time a new condition for a new word), and tell the software "if any of those words are in the subject..." not necessarily all the words.
choosing "match if any criteria are met" doesnt work for this. Because the software will look a subject with all the words i declared in the field "contains"..., even with those symbols separating them "," or ; or "", or || i tried everything. if i dont change the xml file by declaring several string which works, the software seems to keep looking for every word, because it considers the filled field as a whole string.
for example you see here (it s in french sorry), "match if any criteria are met" is  checked. and I added a condition : subject contains : "vente", but in the xml file, i added 10 words by adding strings... so it works but the software can't show them because it only takes the first declared string.

so if someone has a solution...

The filter creation dialog has a combo box options that allow you to
1) match only if all criteria are met
2) match if any criteria are met

Sounds like you want 2).
