Hi;

I am glad to see this announcement.

I have several tweaks to Evo I would like to make, that probably reflect
personal preferences rather than something useful to others. I am
hoping the "Quick steps for writing evolution plugins" will be something
I can use that is equivalent to macros, scripting and/or key binding.

I submitted a request for improvement regarding printed forms some time
ago, maybe now is a chance to follow up on it.

If you would like to get involved in any of the above mentioned work or
have some new ideas, we would be happy to guide. We need more people
getting involved in Evolution development!

I would like to help. I volunteered in the exchange re: bug # 470934
but never heard back.

To write a plugin (or other solution) for my request # 470934 one major
change (I would think) needs to be made to the appointment dialogue so I
mention it with your announcement of 'to do' tasks.

Would it be possible to add a 'Contacts:' field or fields to the
appointment gui dialogue from which the print form could grab names and
phone numbers?
