You are directing your challenge at the wrong address.
Maybe I am (not that I have any alternative) or maybe not. I think the development team has at least some input into what the roadmap looks like. Even if they don't developers can at least go to their management and tell them that evolution is in a sorry state of bugginess and that for the sake of future, they think that they need to put enhancements on hold and work out some of the (worst offending at least) bugs. i.e. a good house can only be built on a good foundation and all that. b.
