I've started using 2.24.2 that came with F10. A couple of things...

Some one mentioned a few days ago about the From: header not being set
correctly. It's just bit me. The issue is this - if you reply to an
email it gets set correctly, but if you start a new message, then it
*always* gets set to the default from address, even if the highlighted
account is not the default one.

Try updating to 2.24.2-2.fc10, which is still in Fedora's Testing repo.
I think that should fix the From: header issue. Can't comment on the
select-all issue.

I currently have evolution-2.24.2-1.fc10.x86_64 and I'm not seeing the
From: header problem (I just did some tests).

I have evolution-2.24.2-1.fc10.i386 and if I click on, say, the email
address in the To: header on the evolution-list emails to start a new
email, the From: address that gets used is my default one - this is not
the account that the list emails get sent to (or retrieved from).

As suggested by Matthew Barnes I'll try updating to the version in
Testing to see if it helps.

I'm also not seeing the select-all issue. I just did a Ctrl-A on a very
large folder (nearly 30,000 messages) and it came up in less than a
second.

It takes about 1-2 seconds to select messages in any folder - it's not a
lengthy time, but it is independent of folder size, network location,
link speed etc. I can't see how it would be a 32/64-bit issue, but you
never know with computers! :-)
