Yes, I am using the script. I've tried what you suggested and still no luck. I think the problem is that not all the libraries have been installed properly. Here is the log file:

(It actually seems a bit odd that Evolution bothers to start when it can't find the "mail" component, but I applaud it for soldiering on...)
I would try and poke around in the Makefiles to try to work out why these libraries aren't being copied across properly, but I'm starting to feel as though my tinkering is not very productive... Any suggestions before I wade into this?
