Hello,
Here is a lot of questions I had with evolution 2.4 . They are still there
with the upgrade in 2.6 (Debian Unstable) :
1- How to desactivate full snapshot of messages over IMAP ? I absolutely
don't need in local and for now, evolution is unusable cause local
filesystem is full :
daffy colerpia:~$ df -h .evolution/
Sys. de fich. Tail. Occ. Disp. %Occ. Monté sur
/dev/hda8 1,2G 907M 198M 83% /home
daffy colerpia:~$ df -i .evolution/
Sys. de fich. Inodes IUtil. ILib. %IUti. Monté sur
/dev/hda8 153280 153056 224 100% /home
I Can't send any mail cause it tries to write in draft folders, where
there is not enough space. If i purge every mail folders in my
.evolution/mail , they are retrieved from imap servers at the first
launched.
I "*really*" need to desactivate offline mode please.
2- Since 2.6 , I can't connect in imaps on my imap server. But it's
allready ok by sending mail with smtp/tls . IMAP connection works great.
3- When i wanna see an html mail with pictures found from internet, the
preview came back at the bottom of the mail and I can't read the top of
the mail cause the preview always came down. I haven't this bug when
pictures are composed in the mail.
4- When i click on an http link in a mail, the preview came back at the
bottom of the mail. But this time, I can scroll up in the mail :-)
5- Evolution connector is very unstable. It's connected about 5 minutes,
and then crash with a laconic message "lost connection to backend
process". What should happens ? When i'm lucky mail and calendar over OWA
works fine ...
6- Since evolution 2.4 , it was working on evolution 2.2 , I can't use the
contacts picked from exchange/contacts. The addressbook seems to be empty.
It is probably not connected .
7- When I sync my addressbook with my phone, I can't put any pictures in
my contacts. Here is an explanation in French there :

Should you confirm what I was answered on the MultySinc Mailing list :
it's probably a VCard format which should be too recent in evolution than
in my mobile phone ?
8- Hum, not for now, I'll try to use this very fresh release for now ,
thanks for devs. Very great mail reader I use since 0.9 I thought :-)
Bye .
