yes, I can confirm that now evolution at least work fine (and let me say pretty fast).
I still manually execute, before executing Evolution the exchange-evolution-storage in an xterm.
I can do all my Exchange work, mail, calendar, contacts, task.
To recap, my currently installed packagere are:
evolution-2.4.1-11
evolution-data-server-1.4.1.1-5
evolution-exchange-2.4.2-3
libsoup-2.2.90-3
and come from:

Fine. :)

This really makes me wonder what those RPM releases actually are. There
is some obscure 2.2.4 on
ftp.ximian.com and a way ahead of time 2.2.90
on ftp.suse.com.
Not sticking to the official released version numbers like this makes it
almost impossible for volunteers to help. GAR.
