With the symlink I'm able to start the exchange- storage but than still crash with the following log:

With this config at least I can access email for a few (Calendar and contact crash as soon I click the icon).

I'm very disappointed about how unstable seems the product compared to the previus SUSE 9, Evolution 1.4.6
I wonder if someone has tried 1.4.6 on SUSE 10.

please keep those latest versions and don't downgrade. :-)

ah, okay:
if you get an error about not finding libsoup-2.2.so.7,
search for a file " libsoup-2.2.so.8.*" (perhaps it's in /usr/lib
or /opt/gnome/lib) and create a symlink named libsoup-2.2.so.7 in that
directory to the libsoup-2.2.so.8.* file.
