2.2.4 come from ftp://ftp.ximian.com/pub/evolution-snapshot/suse-100-i586/
I forgot to mention that I did the test of the symlink even with 2.2.9 (coming from 
tp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/GNOME/update_for_10.0/applications/) but the same error

..
eolution-exchange-storage :32385): libsoup-CRITICAL **: soup_message_add_header: assertion `hash != NULL' failed
.. and than crash.


Right now I downgrade and the current "little bit" stable (for email) config is:

evolution-2.4.1-11
evolution-data-server-1.4.1.1-5
evolution-exchange-2.4.2-3
libsoup-2.2.6.1-3

libsoup 2.2.4 feels outdated. 2.2.7 is the latest stable release. As an
interesting side note, there is *no* libsoup 2.2.4 release on
ftp.gnome.org at all [1].

Uhm, rpm reports missing dependencies? Did you force the install?

Which is a hack. Looks like the snapshot packages are broken.
