Still considering ways to do this without taking up too much room.  Current thought is to show selected instead of unread if you have any (>1) selected.

Hmm I'll special case that, if i can.  Or remove the sent special case thing altogether.  Although it was in 1.4.x anyway, just not properly implemented (it only looked at the local sent folder).
