Maybe we are both referring to the same thing, only our definition of
"some time" differs. ;)
I don't think so, the delay I'm referring to is probably a few
milli-seconds, enough to be noted but not enough to be a DNS-related
delay I guess...

Do you see this hang when entering the To/Cc fields only or even when
switching focus from To/Cc to the Subject field?
I'll check that tonight when I get back home, and I'll let you know.

Don't bother. This was only regarding the faulty hosts file (and
therefore a significantly larger lag).
I am pretty sure, we are observing the same thing. That means, switching
from To/Cc to the Subject field will have the same minor delay.
If I don't pay attention to this delay, it does not disturb me at all.
That means, I just can type ahead without any glitch. That's probably
the reason why the bugs priotity is as low as "Cosmetic" and still
unfixed... ;)
