I second your concern. I had this problem too, for a while, but it seems
to have gone away on its own. I dont remember doing anything that would
have made a change to the evo configuration. Time to submit a bug?

Something I've noticed with Evolution 1.2.1 is that it forgets
passwords about half the time. Sometimes it remembers your password
when fetching mail, and then on the very next mailrun, the "Please
enter password" window will pop up - and it will NOT accept your
password, no matter how many times you enter and click OK. The only
solution I've found to that problem is to killev and restart it, and
that's definitely not a satisfactory solution.
