Apologies, my reply went the individual not the group earlier and so I've copied
it to the group here... I'm having my own problems with Evolution lately so 
I'm back to using mutt at the moment hence forgetting to copy the list.

So it would seem that at least these packages are from Ximian. Are all the required
ones from Ximian or a mixture?

The packages you listed above appear to me to be Ximian GNOME, based on the
.ximian. in the names. You listed gnome-pilot above which should provide 
you with a GUI to configure your conduits. One such conduit is the "Install"
that you're looking for.

Now that's a different story, which is probably best directed to  the KDE 
groups/lists.
