Re: [Evolution] Reply at bottom

Is there a way to tell Evo to start my replies at the bottom of the
message by default instead of at the top? Or do I just have to do this
manually with every message if that the behavior I desire?

Yup. Many consider that a good thing, because it encourages people to
'trim the fat' of the message (like the way I am deleting your sig. etc.
from this reply) since they have to look at it on the way down.

full ack to the 'trim the fat'

IMHO that really is good. Unfortunately that will encourage some folks
to use TOFU style [1]. You can't have everything... ;-)

It wouldn't be necessary to delete Mikes sig, if he would use the
correct sig start [2]. Evo does recognize it and deletes it
automatically. (hint)

There was an idea to make it a configurable option: Custom "xxx wrote"
quote starting line with the ability of going to the top or bottom of
the message. You can find it in the archives. Dunno, if it is considered
a future option...

If you care to read the numerous debates about this issue, check the
list archives (via the link at the bottom of this message).

Or a lot of other mailing list of your choice. Those debates are really
common and users tend to take it personally...
