Would that I could. I was hoping that someone would find this easy to

I'm willing to agree, but I have a question: mailing list archives are
usually in mbox format; is NNTP able to deal with that, or will there
have to be some conversion or shift?
NNTP is not a format, it's a protocol. It is completely independent of
the format of the message storage.
True. I didn't know is if there was some underlying storage format which
was closely bound to the protocol. I suppose further thought should have
led me to conclude that anything is possible in software.
But that's just my $0.02.

I've got tons of code; I just don't know where to put it. ;]
