Xmms is still funky for me though... although i am not sure if this is
the same issue... basically i can open a file but when it plays it plays
at about 20x speed and you cannot hear it... bah... perhaps this is an
issue for another list.
Just a quick sanity check: you haven't got XMMS using the file ouput plugin?
Often I use it then forget I selected it, and wonder why I can't hear
music... :-)
